This has been a tough year, no doubt about it. Starting my own site helped distract me a little bit, as have all of these novellas. At some point during lockdown or partial lockdown, the books listed here did their part to distract and entertain me. For that, I am eternally grateful!
Below, I’ve listed my top ten of the year, but I did not assign these any numerical order, except for Spungunion which blew me away, (again), this year. Click the book covers to see my original review.
Spungunion by John Boden
Borne of the Deep by Michael Patrick Hicks
The Attic Tragedy by J. Ashley-Smith
Crossroads by Laurel Hightower
True Crime by Samantha Kolesnik
Night Service by John Leonard
Last Case At A Baggage Auction by Eric Guignard
Night of the Mannequins by Stephen Graham Jones
These Evil Things We Do by Mick Garris
The Taint and Other Novellas by Brian Lumley, narrated by Joshua Saxon
That’s it, everyone! If you’ve come this far, I thank you! An additional thank you goes out to my fellow reviewers for putting up with all of these reposts over the last few months, as I’ve been moving reviews over from my old site. I appreciate your patience! To all of the authors here, thank YOU! In this dumpster fire of a year, you have provided me with quality entertainment, and I thank you for that!
